You MUST already know. Certainly you read the papers or watched the news and saw the nut running through Bangkok with sparklers, shouting to the world that one of her BEST friends was coming to visit. Yes, yes. You must already know.
Krista and her family have been in my life fo-EVA (it feels like it, anyway). She’s the girl you haven’t seen in years, but sweeps your soul back with one glance. Kris was joined by her hilarious cousin, Kara, and her wonderfully passionate mama as they arrived in Thailand after visiting family throughout India.
I love where I am, and am so thankful I’ve been wholly immersed in this culture – but there’s soooo much to do in this city that’s just not fun alone!
Traveling with old friends is the best. Like, Krista understands that spending time with me means revolving our day around my next meal. The fam spoiled me rotten and treated me to a divinely fun and luxurious weekend. THAAAAAANK YOU!! It was amazing having you here.
One of the not-fun-alone adventures we partook in was Bangkok’s floating market. Kara was especially excited to rise at 6 a.m. and drive two hours to look at veggies on water. In the end, it was time and baht well spent.

Guavas, Rose Apples, Mangos… tantalizing fruit everywhere. The meat is a popular street snack.

I, of course, took advantage of the stunning ladies I spent time with. Introducing, Krista-fab.

Kara inspiring me to peel off my Birkenstocks and maybe even shave.

There are few things I enjoy more than laughing. You’re already missed!
