High school graduation lurked just around the corner, and the sweet girl at the end of the lunch table – you know, the one with the amazing laugh and perfect hair – had been doodling Brian’s name for almost two years. Time was moving so fast, but with one day left before summer, Danielle and Brian went on the first of many dates, that would eventually lead them here; preparing to spend their lives as husband and wife with the person they are head-over-heals crazy for.

Danielle is incredible. This woman has a 24kt heart of GOLD beating beneath her fabulous clothes and beautiful being. For someone as organized and forward-thinking as Danielle, there’s this lightness about her that’s hard to posses. And her smile. OOOOH, that smile. It get more endearing by the minute. But one of the qualities I love most about Danielle is how much she absolutely adoooores Brian. Wholly, truthfully, and unabashedly. I see Jesus all over her in the way she loves him, and that, is truly special.

Naturally, Brian is equally as incredible. He’s dedicated and hard-working, more intelligent than most of us will ever hope to be, and so tender and sincere in the way he takes care of Danielle. He loves the outdoors and has Danielle hooked, too – even to the disbelief of her family! Their differences complement one another so well you’d think they were made for each other. ::Aaah, yes. They were!::

We are ecstatic for their August wedding in Lake Placid!! Hope you enjoy some of their photos from around Armory Square and Skaneateles! BIG thank you to Christina Noelle for the flawless makeup!

Gaaah. HER EYES!

Could they BE any cuter?! Danielle is the best looking J.Crew junkie I’ve ever laid eyes on.

Brian TOTALLY let his hair down and gave us some serious handsomsauce.

The shoot wouldn’t be complete without to die for gelato.

Don’t lie. I know you’re just as obsessed with those pants as I am.

We love you!! xoxo

Oops! The mom is techno challenged! The comment below is from Anne and NOT Danielle….mea culpa!

  • Danielle Beaudin:

I’m still amazed when I think that’s my beautiful little girl all grown up! And I can attest to the fact that she’s beautiful on the inside as well! Ditto goes for the groom-to-be! As parents, we are blessed indeed!

  • Brenda Comolli:

This love story unfolds over the river and through the woods, where towering trees and sprawling fields painted a surreal backdrop for a very special wedding. Almost as if it were a childhood movie, birds chirped from the branches while a gentle wind weaved through the air. The skies seemed as calm as Katy, and that, says a lot.

True to form, Katy embraced the morning and excitement of all to come. And after several minutes of mastering the perfect head-tilt-tear-pickup with mom (so as not to smear her makeup), she stepped into her gown and transformed into a glowing, radiant bride.

Above the Mountain Springs Lodge, Jim organized his outfit, his groomsmen, and anything else that came in his path. It was so evident he wanted every last detail to be perfect for Katy, and in such thoughtfulness, he ran around all morning to make sure that was the case. Because his friends respect him so greatly, they too joined in to help however they could.

When Katy and Jim saw one another for the first time as bride and groom, there was a thick, tangible sense of love that covered them everywhere they went. Through many tears, and bursts of laughter, the day concluded with tight hugs and so much joy.

Katy + Jim :: You’re family. Being part of your wedding was incredibly special for us, and we are so, so happy you now live life as one. Thank you for allowing us in to something so special. WE LOVE YOU!!! And your hairĀ ::wink wink::

Katy was STUNNING in lace.

Their first look was precious! Katy cried the whole walk over.

Cindy from the Floral Gallery did a gorgeous job with ALL the arrangements!

Katy is a talented artist, so she DIYed a ton of the details!

A HUGE thank you to Cindy at the Lodge for being so accommodating and delightful to work with!!

XOXO!!!
