She just wanted to see him. Not a curl was out of place and her crisply pressed gown hung waiting to be worn. Christine flipped through the beautifully bound book of letters her sister surprised her with, and with a gaping smile, peeked her watering eyes to the sky. The day couldn’t have been more ideal, with the clearest of clear skies and a morning breeze that made the girls’ dresses dance effortlessly. As her poise and calmness covered her being, she knew she was ready.

Across the greens in a villa bursting with cheers from a broadcasted football game, Kyle and his friends laughed and enjoyed one another. It became evident that Kyle was the glue holding these friends together. But even with all the excitement surrounding him, his mind and heart just wanted to be with Christine. Once they saw each other, Kyle was all about his bride. He made sure she knew she was the most beautiful girl in the world.

This story started on a neighborhood block, where two families who had become best of friends, watched their children do the same. For Kyle and Christine, their love story holds years of memories, riding bikes, and a particular baseball game that changed everything. Growing up together allowed them to grow in together, learning how to love and respect their best friend. To see so much love unfold on one single day is to be admired and cherished, and we could not have been more grateful to be part of it.
