The sun seeped through a mass of towering trees to kiss the cheeks of a loving man, and beautiful woman. He busied himself, anxious and excited to breathe his bride. She was calm. Glowing, ready, at peace… admirably calm. It was evident throughout the day they shared an honest desire to love one another well and deeply, to the end.
Lee and Melinda met while serving in El Salvadore with the Peace Corps. They smirked and recounted an initial disinterest – what a joke to think they’d ever date. ::Que foreshadowing laugh:: Two servant’s hearts were fostered and romanced, until life without the other just didn’t make sense. All of which led to a perfect weekend at the Full Moon Resort, surrounded by loved ones from across the country.
I have spent much of the year anticipating your wedding. So, Lee and Melinda, thank you for bringing us into the beginning of YOU. Your families overwhelmed us with thoughtfulness, and your friends made my insides melt over and over. We’re so glad you’ve found your half to change the world with. WE LOVE YOU!!
